National Instruments PXIe-5667 PXI Vector Signal Analyzer

The PXIe-5667 (Part Numbers: 782366-01, 782366-02, 782366-03, 782367-01, 782367-02) is an advanced Vector Signal Analyzer from National Instruments. The instrument comes with the onboard memory to enable various RF measurements. The PXIe-5667 is not a singular physical part- instead, iti refers to the interconnected use of many NI modules. These modules include an RF Downconverter Module (the PXIe-5605), an IF Digitizer Module (the PXIe-5622), a LO Source Module (the PXIe-5653), an RF Preselector Module (the PXIe-5693), and an IF Conditioning Module (the PXIe-5694).

The size of the memory is 64 MB or 256 MB.  The Analyzer provides a frequency range from 20 Hz to 3.6 GHz or 7 GHz. The instrument offers optimized solutions for various testing requirements, such as spectrum monitoring. The PXIe-5667 can be used for the following applications: interference detection, spectrum regulation, and radio monitoring, as well as many applications that involve ITU standards.

The NI PXIe-5667 allows the user to implement sub-octave pre-selection of the bandwidth. The instrument also has a low value for noise figure which is less than 12 dB. The instrument comes with seven built-in IF filters to further enhance the measurement capabilities of the device. Their bandwidth value ranges from 30 kHz to 50 MHz.
