National Instruments 779200-01 PXI Filler Panel

Part Number 779200-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments PXI Filler Panel Kit. It is typically used with the PXI-1044 to improve cooling performance in empty or unused slots. Likewise, it also prevents contaminants from entering those unused slots. This device consists of 9 filler panels, where 7 of them cover a single slot, and a double-width and a quadruple-width panel covers 2 and 4 adjacent slots respectively. 

To install the 779200-01, first, you must remove the captive screw covers and then secure the mounting screws to the chassis. The 779200-01, like the other NI PXI EMC filler panels, exhibits the following characteristics:

• Increases shielding across the front panel of the chassis, especially when all the panels installed in the chassis are IEEE 1101.10 compliant EMC panels
• Meets IEEE specification 11101.10 Due to the EMC gasket, they can be installed in every slot of the PXI chassis with minimal interference.
