The National Instruments 780595-01 is the identifying part number for the PXIe-1062Q model, an 8-slot PXI Express chassis designed for diverse test and measurement applications. In order to fulfill the higher cooling requirements of PXI Express modules, each slot supplies 30 W of cooling power. The chassis offers 353.9 W of available power, supporting operation in a temperature range of 0 to 55 °C. It has two internal reference clocks with low jitter: one at 10 MHz with ±25 ppm stability for PXI slots and another at 100 MHz with the same stability for PXI Express slots. With a quiet operation of 43.6 dBA at temperatures up to 30 °C, the variable speed fan controller optimizes both cooling and acoustic emissions.
Features like power supply, temperature, and fan monitoring, together with HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) for increased durability, demonstrate the 780595-01 chassis' outstanding reliability. It supports multiple chassis and provides switchless CLK10 routing with rear CLK10 I/O connectors and a PXI Express System Timing Slot for accurate synchronization across many chassis.
The 780595-01 chassis is built to meet the PXI-5 PXI Express Hardware Specification, and it conforms with both PXI and CompactPCI specifications. It also supports sophisticated timing and synchronization features. Front and rear rack-mount kits, new power supply shuttles, EMC filler panels, slot blockers to enhance cooling efficiency, and factory installation services are among the optional accessories.
