Designed to accommodate increased PXIe cooling requirements, the 787137-01 offers 38.25 W of cooling per slot. The cooling features of the chassis are optimized through the use of acoustic emissions and a fan controller that boasts variable speeds. The front-accessible cooling fans of the chassis are both redundant and hot-swappable- eliminating the need to shut down the system entirely before replacing malfunctioning fans. Optimal functionality of the 787137-01 is achieved when it is operated within temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C.
The front panel of the 787137-01 features two SMA connectors (PXI_CLK10) that facilitate multi-chassis connection and support, while the PXIe system timing slot ensures close synchronization. Four LED indicators are also featured on the front panel, providing quick visual insight into the status of the temperature, power supply (1 and 2), and fan of the chassis. For applications that require rack mounting, the 787137-01 is compatible with optional front or rear rack-mount kits.
