National Instruments PXIe-1066DC PXI Chassis

The National Instrument PXIe‑1066DC (Part Number: 781812-01) adds high-availability features to the PXI Express platform to maximize system efficiency. Designed with an inspiration from PXIe‑1065 functionality, this model integrates hot-swappable, redundant DC power supplies as well as hot-swappable, front-accessible, redundant cooling fans. These high-availability features enhance the mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) of the PXI system.

The National Instruments PXIe‑1066DC Chassis has a 38 W per slot cooling system that meets increased PXI Express cooling requirements. The NI PXIe‑1066DC has a speed fan controller that optimizes cooling and controls acoustic emissions. This model features quiet operation for 0 to 30 °C at 49.8 dBA. Its low-jitter internal 10 MHz and 100MHz reference clock function with the PXI and PXIe slots with ± 25 ppm stability, respectively.

The PXIe‑1066DC Chassis has an operating temperature of 0 to 50 °C. This model has a feature that monitors power supply and temperature, along with an Ethernet interface for remote monitoring. The NI PXIe‑1066DC is HALT tested for increased reliability and allows compatibility with CompactPCI.
