National Instruments 781729-04 PXIe-8115 Embedded Controller

Part Number 781729-04 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments PXIe-8115 Embedded Controller. The 781729-04 features an Intel® Core™ i5 2510E (2.50 GHz dual-core processor) CPU and an on-die L2 cache of 3 MB. Likewise, it comes with 2 GB (standard) of single-channel DDR3 RAM and supports up to a maximum of 8 GB. Furthermore, it has a Serial ATA hard drive with a minimum size of 250 GB. 

The 781729-04 also features a 10/100/1000 BaseT ethernet interface, an RS-232 serial port, a parallel port, 6 hi-speed USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard/34 slot, PXI trigger bus I/O, and comes with a Windows 7 Professional or the Windows XP FES OS installed. Furthermore, it also supports PXI Express 4 Link and 2 Link configuration. Note that the device does not have a PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse connector.

Furthermore, the device is to be operated indoors only and within a maximum altitude of 2000 m. Moreover, the device should be cleaned with a soft nonmetallic brush and dried and freed from contamination before being put into use.
