The National Instruments 785977-01 (PXIe-6593) is a high performance 8-channel PXI high speed serial instrument tailored for engineers who require robust validation, interfacing and testing capabilities for various serial protocols. It leverages the powerful Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale FPGA that is available in configuration (KU060) which offers extensive reconfigurability to accommodate diverse application needs. The FPGA's multigigabit transceivers enable high speed data transmission and reception through up to eight TX and RX lanes.

This serial instrument is programmable using LabVIEW FPGA that provides users with a high degree of customization for specific application requirements. The onboard DRAM with a total of 4 GB across two banks ensures fast and efficient data processing. The DRAM boasts a maximum theoretical data rate of 17 GB/s.
