The National Instruments 778572-27 is a high-voltage PXI multiplexer switch module that is a member of the PXI-2527 product range. To minimize disruptions from the host CPU, it can download a list of up to 32,000 connections and use hardware triggers to cycle between them. Using instruments such as the NI 407x FlexDMM, which activates the multiplexer following every measurement, makes this scanning procedure extremely effective.
