National Instruments TB-2627 Terminal Block

The TB-2627 is a screw terminal, Terminal Block. The NI TB-2627 is assembled by National Instruments. The NI TB-2627 comes from the family of terminal blocks by National Instruments. This Terminal Block is fabricated to be used with the PXI/PXIe-2527 switch modules developed by National Instruments. The NI TB-2627 is designed with part number 779358-01. To use the device, the following components must be available: the NI TB-2627 terminal block, a PXI chassis, the NI PXI/PXIe-2527 switch module, a wire insulation stripper, a 1/8 in. flathead screwdriver, and a wire cutter.

This Terminal Block is manufactured for interfacing with the NI PXI/PXIe-2527 switch modules. The TB-2627 is designed as a multiplexer for PXI modules. The NI TB-2627 can function with various configurations: 64 x 1 1-wire multiplexer, 32 x 1 2-wire multiplexer, 16 x 1 4-wire multiplexer, dual 32 x 1 1-wire multiplexer, and dual 16 x 1 2-wire multiplexer configurations. This Terminal Block can be used with the NI HV6-BAN4 DMM cable (Part Number: 192795-0R2). The TB-2627 also requires a PXI chassis for functioning.

The NI TB-2627 is built with screw terminals for interfacing all its multiplexer channels. The TB-2627 has a cold-junction sensor (thermistor) near the J13 connector on the PCB. The NI TB-2627 block connector is capable of a maximum switching voltage of 300 V (both channel–to–channel and channel–to–earth). This Terminal Block has a cold-junction sensor output of 0.2 to 0.024 V from 0 °C to 50 °C. The accuracy from 15 °C to 35 °C is ±0.5 °C. Lastly, the accuracy is ±1.0 °C from 0 °C to 15 °C and 35 °C to 50 °C.

TB-2627 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the terminal block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
