The NI PXIe-7862R is a Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module. The PXIe-7862R is manufactured by National Instruments. The NI PXIe-7862R can be purchased with part number 786672-01. One of the main features of the PXIe-7862R is the capability to directly control the I/O signals. The PXIe-7862R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module offers a complete solution for applications that require flexible timing and synchronization options. The NI PXIe-7862R is also used for high-speed onboard processing. The National Instruments PXIe-7861R has a unique design that offers capabilities such as individual channel triggering and multiple sampling rates.
The NI PXIe-7862R contains 16 analog input terminals and 8 output terminals connected directly to a Kintex-7 160T FPGA. The PXIe-7862R uses a successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. The National Instruments PXIe-7862R can be used within the bandwidth range of 1 MHz and 500 kHz. The designed logic level of the PXIe-7862R module for digital signals is 32 V. The maximum clock rate of the PXIe-7862R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module is 80 MHz.
The NI PXIe-7862R has a dedicated A/D converter, which means it has a separate A/D converter for each channel. The PXIe-7862R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module provides connections for 32 digital input/output channels. In the National Instruments PXIe-7862R PXI Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module, 16 low speed channels are contained by Connector 0 and Connector 1. These channels can run signal frequencies. The maximum limit of these frequencies is 10 MHz. The logic level for each connector in the NI PXIe-7862R is fixed at 3.3 V. The outputs received in the PXIe-7862R are analog and single-ended. The National Instruments PXIe-7862R module is nearly the same as the PXIe-7861R. The only difference is the FPGA type. The NI PXIe-786R contains 407,600 flip-flops in the reconfigurable FPGA and supports a maximum sampling rate of 1 MS/s.
