National Instruments PCI-7041/6040E Multifunction Data Acquisition Board
The National Instruments PCI-7041/6040E (Part Number: 778254-01) is a Multifunction Data Acquisition Board from the RT Series. This device offers deterministic, real-time, reliable I/O for a Windows-based desktop computer. The NI 7041 processor board incorporated in this DAQ system comes equipped with a 700 MHz Pentium III processor. The NI PCI-7041/6040E has two 12-bit analog outputs, two 24-bit counter/timers, and eight digital I/O lines. This high performance, plug-in type board adds a broad range of control and measurement applications to an existing desktop system while using only one PCI slot.
For running National Instruments LabVIEW Real-Time applications, the processor board features 32 MB of CompactFlash, 32 MB of SDRAM, as well as high-speed dual port memory for interfacing to the host machine. Moreover, this model also has a peripheral I/O plug-in board that comes with one standard serial port, one external connector for watchdog/timers, and two user programmable LEDs.
