National Instruments SC-2056 Cable Adapter
The SC-2056 (Part Number: 776335-96) belongs to the SC-205X Series of Cable Adapters manufactured by National Instruments. The SC-2056 is designed for the signal conditioning of various accessories. The SC-2056 Cable Adapter is featured with the simplicity and flexibility to connect with compatible DAQ devices. These compatible DAQ devices include the 64-channel E Series devices, which comprises the AT-MIO-64E-3 and VXI-MIO-64E-1. This can be accomplished with the use of an SH100100, R1005050, or SH96-100 cable. The connection must be made when the host computer or VXI chassis is powered off.
The National Instruments SC-2056 Cable Adapter can additionally be connected to signal conditioning accessories via an NB7, 26-pin ribbon cable. The NI SC-2056 has two 50-pin ribbon cable connectors which can be utilized with the R1005050 cable and a 100-pin connector which can be used with the SH100100 or SH96-100 cable. There are four additional 50-pin ribbon cable connectors for connecting to other types of 50-pin accessories. These four connectors have a MIO pin connector, as well as analog channels 0–15, 16–31, 32–47, and 48–63 accessible for the 50-pin accessories.
