National Instruments 777459-01 Feedthrough Module
National Instruments part number 777459-01 is an identifying part number for the SCC-FT01 a Feedthrough Module. The NI 777459-01 connects directly to the analog input (AI) and analog output (AO) channels of an E Series data acquisition (DAQ) device. Its breadboard area allows users to create custom signal conditioning hardware for interfacing with analog, digital (P0.), and general-purpose counter/clock (CTR) channels of the E Series DAQ devices. To use this module for counter functions, users can connect to the pads labeled CTR above connector J2 on the breadboard area. The module includes a signal connection label inside the enclosure that shows the pad numbers.
Moreover, the NI 777459-01 can be used for AI, AO, digital, or counter applications, with all pads available for use. It supports 2 single-ended or 1 differential analog input channel and 1 analog output channel when connected to an AO socket on the SC-2345. The module features a 20-pin right-angle male connector and a 6-pin screw terminal, accommodating wire sizes from 28 to 16 AWG. The NI 777459-01 is compatible with NI-DAQmx, traditional NI-DAQ, and NI-VISA driver software. It works with various software packages and application development environments (ADEs) like LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time Module, LabWindows/CVI, Visual C++, Visual Basic, and Measurement Studio. Users can connect the SCC-FT01 to the CTR CH0 attachment J19.
When connected to the CTR CH1 attachment J20, the pads under CTR CH1 on the board link to signals from CTR channel 1 and the AI channels of the E Series DAQ device. The module also allows access to cascading signals from nearby SCC modules.
National Instruments has declared obsolete status for the part number 777459-01, however, it will still remain available for both purchase and repairs with Apex Waves.
