The National Instruments 780161-01 is a 1-port PXI PROFIBUS Master/Slave Interface designed for integrating PC-based controllers with PROFIBUS DP industrial networks. This interface supports both master and slave operations that allows flexible network configurations. The module is equipped with a NetSilicon NET+ARM processor operating at 33 MHz to ensure reliable network communication and control. In master mode, the 780161-01 interface manages network timing and data exchange that leverages the Configurator utility to set up the network efficiently.
