The National Instruments ISC-1782 (Part Number: 785149-01, 785151-01, 785150-01, 785148-01) is an industrial grade Smart Camera. This model comes equipped with a powerful Intel Celeron N2807 (Dual-Core) processor. The processor offers 1.58 GHz base frequency and 2.16 GHz burst frequency.

The NI ISC-1782 has a 2 MP image sensor. Thus, it can offer a resolution of 1920 x 1200. As far as its frame rate is concerned, the monochrome variant is designed to provide up to 45.8 fps, whereas up to 19.9 fps is achievable with the color variant. In terms of the operating system, two options are available: NI Linux Real-Time and Windows 10 Enterprise 2016. The Linux variant comes with one reserved input and three general purpose inputs. However, the Windows version comes with four general purpose inputs.

The digital inputs of the NI ISC-1782 are current sourcing or sinking type inputs that can operate over a voltage range of 0 V to 24 V. For the unit’s safety, integrated overvoltage protection is provided on all the input lines. This camera comes with three current sinking type digital outputs. The operating voltage range of the digital outputs is 24 V. An automatically resetting fuse is provided for output protecting that trips the unit at 0.5 A with 1 second time delay.

The National Instruments ISC-1782 offers 1 V to 10 V analog output control signal for lighting control. This model provides stable performance in even the harshest industrial environments since it comes with IP67 ingression protection.
