The SmartBits LAN-3201A, a SmartMetrics Gigabit Ethernet Multimode Module, is a product of Spirent Communications. Spirent Communications introduced the Spirent SmartBits LAN-3201A SmartMetrics Gigabit Ethernet Multimode Module primarily for the layer 3 devices under test (DUTs). The layer 3 devices are investigated for their operation, suitability, and integrated operation with other devices with the help of the SmartBits LAN-3201A module. In addition to the layer 3 DUTs, the SmartBits LAN-3201A module is equally capable of testing the layer 2 DUTs as well.
