Keysight/Agilent P9241A Streamline Series USB Oscilloscope
The Keysight P9241A is a two-channel USB oscilloscope from the Streamline Series product line. It delivers a -3 dB analog bandwidth of 200 MHz for industrial automation signal testing. It achieves a calculated rise time of 1.75 ns measured from the 10 to 90 percent signal threshold. It connects via USB and integrates directly into PC-based test environments for portable and bench use. The maximum sample rate of the oscilloscope is 5 GSa/s when operating on a single active channel. With both channels active simultaneously, the sample rate reduces to 2.5 GSa/s per channel. The standard memory depth is 4 Mpts, and the instrument includes segmented memory as a standard configuration. The waveform update rate exceeds one million waveforms per second, enabling capture of high-speed transient signal events.
The vertical system of the P9241 A USB oscilloscope includes selectable hardware bandwidth limiting at approximately 20 MHz. The input coupling is available in both AC and DC modes for flexible signal acquisition. The input impedance is user-selectable between 1 MΩ ± 1 % at 15 pF and 50 Ω ± 3 % tolerance. The input sensitivity ranges from 1 mV per division to 5 V per division across both impedance settings. The vertical resolution is 8 bits and improves to 12 bits of measurement resolution through signal averaging. The maximum rated direct input voltage is 135 Vrms for standard measurement configurations. The included N2843A 10:1 passive probe extends the safe measurement range up to 300 Vrms. The DC vertical gain accuracy is ± ±2.0% full scale, and DC vertical offset accuracy is ±0.1 div ±2 mV ±1% of the offset setting.
The vertical offset range of the Keysight P9241A USB oscilloscope is ± 2 V for sensitivity settings from 1 mV per division to 200 mV per division. For settings above 200 mV per division, the offset range extends to a maximum of ± 50 V. The channel-to-channel skew exceeds 100:1 from DC to the maximum specified bandwidth of the instrument. The channel-to-channel deskew range is ± 100 ns for precise multi-channel signal timing alignment.
