Tektronix TDS210 Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope
This Tektronix TDS210 is a two-channel real-time digital oscilloscope for professional users that provides the reliability and quality needed to perform the signal analysis of their signals in an industrial environment. The TDS210 has a 60 MHz bandwidth and a 1 GS/s sampling rate on each channel to capture and show waveform information for real-time diagnostics and system monitoring needs. Its portability and small size make it usable as a benchtop unit on cramped workbenches, in control panels, or out in the field for the technician to get the answers they need regarding the behavior of electronic circuits, the signal integrity of the signals being sent through them, and the timing of systems.
Operational aspects of the oscilloscope include an easy-to-use interface that allows for immediate setup of signals using Autoset, as well as a number of different acquisition modes such as Sample & Peak Detect mode for measuring very short duration signals, and parametric measurements such as frequency, period, and voltage measurements to determine characteristics of signals automatically. The oscilloscope also provides zoom in X-axis and Y-axis to allow users to examine waveforms in greater detail, as well as cursors to measure time and voltage differences between points on waveforms. In addition to these capabilities, the oscilloscope is able to store waveforms and configurations of the front panel for repeated tests to improve efficiency and productivity of users. Additional capabilities may be added via optional modules that will provide additional capabilities such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) Analysis capability and additional communication port capabilities to integrate into Automated Test Systems.
Within industrial automation, the Tektronix TDS210 oscilloscope is commonly used for design verification, debugging control logic, troubleshooting sensor/actuator interface problems, and quality checking products being produced on the production line. Additionally, the rugged design of the oscilloscope will continue to function reliably under a variety of operating conditions and support a wide range of uses, including machine diagnostics and educational training related to electronic principles.
