Tektronix TDS3054C Oscilloscope
With the Tektronix TDS3054C, it is possible to utilize the vertical position control to find the chosen waveform on the screen. When the vertical position changes, a horizontal line shows up incidentally and demonstrates the user to the ground reference level on the screen. After the line vanishes, the ground reference level is set apart to one side of the grid. If the acquisition stops, the user can change the position of the waveforms for the examination. The new position setting is utilized when the acquisition is continued. Additionally, the Vertical Scale Control can be used to set the vertical scale factor of the chose waveform in 1-2-5 increments. In the event that acquisition ceases, the user can in any case rescale waveforms for examination. The new scale setting is utilized when acquisition resumes.
In this model, the user can push a channel button (1, 2, 3, or 4) to choose a channel. Each channel button additionally shows the channel in case it is not already shown. Push the Vertical Menu button to demonstrate the Vertical menu of the selected channel. In addition, probes can be used with the TekProbe II Interface. When the user connects a test with the TekProbe II interface, the oscilloscope sets the channel sensitivity, coupling, and termination resistance automatically to match the probe requirements.
Vertical Preview is another important feature included. When you change the Vertical Position or Scale Controls while the acquisition is ceased or it is waiting for the next trigger, the oscilloscope rescales and repositions the chosen waveform because of the new vertical control settings.
