Tektronix TDS8000 Digital Sampling Oscilloscope
The TDS8000 is a Digital Sampling Oscilloscope by Tektronix. It features DC to 50 GHz Bandwidth with up to 8 Channel acquisition. This model offers an accurate, comprehensive, and automatic measurement system with unmatched TDR capabilities. This model has a 10.4" color LCD coupled with a high-quality touch panel to provide users with an effortless operating experience. The TDS8000 combines world-class waveform acquisition technology and familiar Microsoft Windows-based PC technologies, which serves to help the user immensely with productivity rates.
This digital sampling oscilloscope comes with a broad range of waveform processing capabilities and onboard measurements, ensuring that it surpasses almost every other oscilloscope in the ultra-high bandwidth range. With an exception vertical resolution, measurement repeatability, and lightning waveform acquisition, the TDS8000 becomes the ultimate choice for challenging applications, such as High-Speed Digital Data Communications, Impedance and Crosstalk Characterization, and Semiconductor Testing.
The state of the art timebase integrated into this instrument delivers equivalent time sweep speeds with 20 to 4000 points record and at a sample interval of 0.01 ps. Apart from this, the user can also lock these timebases to a 10 MHz reference to achieve higher stability on a long-term basis. This ability allows this oscilloscope to sync with other test devices, along with the device under test.
This model offers two windows for magnification as well, whereby it can also re-acquire sections of the main trace at a higher resolution for better analysis and closer examination. The Tektronix TDS8000 has a multi-processor structure with dedicated processors for each channel. This arrangement guarantees the highest rates of waveform acquisition, regardless of the total number of channels being used for the acquisition or waveform processing.
