TDK Lambda DSP60-12 DIN Rail Power Supply
The TDK Lambda DSP60-12 is a compact power supply built to provides a regulated 24V DC output that is user adjustable between 24 V and 28 V. The unit is rated for a maximum continuous output current of 1.25 A and a peak power of 30 W. Its low 56 mm profile enables efficient integration into space-constrained automation control panel environments. The power supply features a wide range AC input that covers an operating frequency range from 47 to 63Hz. It removes the need for input selector switches or external transformers enabling seamless global system deployment. The input current draw of this unit is rated at 1.5 A measured at 90 Vac and 50 Hz. The inrush current at a cold start condition of 230 Vac is measured at a peak value of 65 A.
The DIN Rail Power Supply delivers a typical operational efficiency of 87 % under nominal input and full load conditions. At 115 Vac input, the hold up time is rated at 25 milliseconds enabling short duration ride through capability. Both line and load regulation are independently maintained at 240 mV ensuring consistent and stable DC output performance. The ripple and noise measured at a 20 MHz bandwidth is controlled to a maximum level of 120 mV. When the AC input voltage level exceeds 115Vac, the power supply's turn-on time remains less than 2.5 seconds. Throughout the operational temperature range, the output voltage temperature coefficient is rated at a consistent ± 0.05%/°C. The overcurrent protection activates at less than 160 % of the rated output current to prevent circuit damage. The overvoltage protection for the power supply is functional within a threshold band of 30 V to 36 V.
The onboard LED indicators in the DSP60-12 Power Supply provide operational feedback where green confirms active output and red signals DC low. The conducted and radiated EMI performance of the model meets EN55032-B Class A and FCC Class A specifications. The model’s enclosure uses flame retardant UL94 V-0 rated polycarbonate for structural fire safety. The unit measures 2.09 x 3.76 x 2.19 inches and weighs a typical 200 grams.
