TDK Lambda DPP50-15 DIN Rail Mount Power Supply
The TDK Lambda DPP50-15 is a 50 W DIN rail-mount power supply engineered for industrial automation systems. It delivers a stable 15 V DC output with a maximum continuous output current of 3.4 amperes. The model supports a wide universal AC input voltage range spanning from 85 VAC to 264 VAC. The input frequency operation is compatible from 47 Hz to 63 Hz, thereby covering global power infrastructure requirements.
The DPP50-15 achieves an efficiency of 85% at full load, thereby reducing internal heat generation significantly. The output voltage can be trimmed across a range of 11.9 V to 15.1 V to suit specific application demands. Both line regulation and load regulation are held below 0.5%, delivering consistent output performance. The output ripple and noise are controlled below 50 mV as measured across a 20 MHz bandwidth.
The thermal design of the DPP50-15 power supply relies solely on natural convection. The unit is rated for continuous operation from -10°C to 71°C with a 5%/°C linear derating above 61°C. The storage temperature limits are defined between -25°C and 85°C for safe nonoperational storage conditions. The operating humidity tolerance of this unit spans from 20 to 90% RH in non-condensing environments.
The DPP50-15 power supply incorporates overcurrent protection that triggers at greater than 120% of the rated output current. The overvoltage protection is active between 125% and 137.5% of the nominal 15 V output voltage level. A hold-up time of greater than 20 ms at 115 VAC input maintains output during brief input interruptions. A front-facing green LED indicator provides visual confirmation of the power supply's active operating status. The DPP50-15 power supply is enclosed in a plastic casing and has an approximate total weight of 260 grams.
The physical dimensions of the DPP50-15 measure 45 mm wide by 75 mm tall by 91 mm deep. The input-to-output withstand voltage is verified at 3 kVAC sustained for a duration of one minute.
