TDK Lambda GEN40-19 Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda GEN40-19 programmable DC power supply delivers a rated DC output of 40 Vdc at 19 A with a maximum power output of 760 W. The model accepts a wide range of AC input from 85 to 265 Vac at frequencies spanning 47 to 63 Hz. Its single-phase input architecture ensures broad compatibility across a wide variety of industrial facility power supply systems.
The GEN40-19 unit provides a continuously adjustable output from 0 to 40 Vdc and 0 to 19 A, respectively. The typical efficiency of the model is rated at 87%. The voltage ripple noise measures 0.008 Vrms across a bandwidth of 5 Hz to 1 MHz at rated output. The current ripple noise for the model is rated at 0.048 A rms. This ensures stable and low-noise power delivery across the same frequency range.
The remote voltage programming on the power supply uses a 16-bit interface, offering a resolution of 0.8 mV. The voltage programming accuracy is 20 mV based on 0.05% of the rated output voltage specification. The remote current programming is also 16-bit with a resolution of 0.38 mA and an accuracy of 38 mA. The OVP and UVL programming provide a resolution of 40 mV and accuracy of 400 mV for load protection.
The GEN40-19 power supply achieves a power factor of 0.99 at both 100 Vac and 200 Vac under rated output conditions. It complies with EN61000-3-2 Class A and EN61000-3-3 standards from 20 to 100% of output power. The unit maintains a hold-up time exceeding 20 milliseconds at 100 VAC under full rated load. The inrush current of the model at 100 Vac is kept below 25 A to minimize transient impact on the facility power network.
The GEN40-19 Power Supply supports parallel operation with up to 4 units for scalable system configurations. The master/slave mode uses a single-wire current balance connection for uniform load sharing across all parallel units. The model provides readback voltage with a resolution of 1.2 mV and readback current with 57 mA accuracy. The series operation supports up to 2 units with external diodes and a chassis-to-ground limit of 600 V.
