TDK Lambda GEN60-25 Programmable DC Power Supply
The GEN60-25 manufactured by TDK Lambda is a programmable DC power supply from the Genesys series. The high-performance power supplies from this series feature broad output ranges, raising the bar of adaptability and dependability for AC/DC power systems. The GEN60-25 is an excellent choice for applications in laboratory, OEM and industrial settings. Parallel operation is one of the standout features of the device. This feature allows for the expansion of available power through the use of Genesys power supplies (that are identical in their output voltage and current ratings) to be paralleled in a master-slave configuration with automated current sharing.
The rear panel of the power supply features analog inputs and outputs that are designed for analog control. Analog voltage can be used to program the output voltage and the current limit, and it can also be used to monitor the output voltage. Additionally, this device is safeguarded against various operational hazards with dedicated protections against over voltage, over temperature, and foldback.
LED indicators on the GEN60-25 offer quick visual insight into the operational status of the device’s voltage, current, output, and protections. Constant Current and Constant Voltage are the power supply's two primary operational modes. The output voltage setting, load resistance, and output current limit at any particular time determine which operating mode is employed.
Physically, this power supply measures dimensions of 422.8 mm x 43.6 mm x 432.8mm (16.65 in x 1.72 in x 17.04 in) and typically weighs around 8500 g (18.7 lbs). Internal fans provide forced air cooling for the device, and the cooling fan speed control capability extends the life of the fans and ensures low noise during operation.
When operational, the GEN60-25 should be used in environments where the temperature range spans from 0°C to 50°C with a non-condensing relative humidity of 20% to 90%. When not in use, the storage environment of the power supply should include temperatures of -20°C to 70°C. The relative humidity of the storage conditions should also be noncondensing, ranging from 10% to 95%. This device can be operated at altitudes up to 3000m.
