TDK Lambda GEN80-19 Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda GEN80-19 power supply from the Genesys series is designed for industrial automation. The model accepts a wide AC input range of 85 to 265 Vac supported by active power factor correction. This design enables the unit to sustain stable output performance during input transients without interruption. The safe start function can be enabled to initialize with the output in the OFF state, protecting connected loads. The current limit foldback provides further protection of the load from current surges during dynamic operating conditions.
The GEN80-19 power supply delivers a rated output voltage of 80 V along with a continuous output current of 19 A. The model provides a rated output power of 1520 W, maintaining reliable performance across varying load conditions. The efficiency is rated at 84% at 100 Vac input and 88% at 200 Vac input, confirming energy-efficient operation.
The GEN80-19 is packaged in a 1U rack mount form factor that also supports benchtop deployment. The physical dimensions measure 422.8 mm in width, 43.6 mm in height, and 432.8 mm in depth, maintaining a standard 1U profile. The GEN80-19 power supply complies with MIL-810E vibration requirements. The shock resistance is qualified as below 20 G at half sine 11 milliseconds in the unpacked state. The power supply is operationally certified to 10000 ft (3000 m) with output current derated at 2% per 100 m above 2000 m. The non-operating altitude for the model extends to 40000 ft (12000 m).
