TDK Lambda ZUP10-20 Zero Up Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda ZUP10-20 is a programmable DC power supply designed for precision industrial automation and test applications. It delivers a rated output of 10 Vdc at 20 A with a maximum output power of 200 W. The model accepts a wide single-phase AC input from 85 to 265 VACC at frequencies spanning 47 to 63 Hz.
The ZUP10-20 power supply provides continuously programmable output voltage from 0 to 10 Vdc and current from 0 to 20 A. Both setpoints are remotely configurable via 0 to 4 V analog voltage input or 0 to 4 kΩ resistance input. The remote sense function compensates for up to 0.5 V of cable voltage drop at the load. The CV mode load regulation is held to 2 mV across the complete 0 to 100% load change.
The ZUP10-20 DC power supply achieves a CV mode voltage programming response time of 50 to 60 ms in the upward direction. The downward programming response time in CV mode is 50 ms for full output voltage reduction. The standard RS232 and RS485 serial communication interfaces enable integration into automated industrial control systems. The remote on/off switching is achievable via a TTL logic signal or an external dry contact relay input.
The ZUP10-20 power supply supports a series connection of two units and parallel master-slave operation with up to five units. The internal fan cooling in the model maintains stable thermal conditions while active over-temperature protection prevents damage under sustained load. The operating temperature for the model is rated from 0 °C to 50 °C with a storage range of -20 °C to +70 °C. The input-to-output withstand voltage is rated at 3 kVAC for one minute, ensuring robust galvanic isolation.
The input to ground withstand voltage for the ZUP10-20 Zero Up Programmable DC Power Supply is specified at 2 kVAC, providing additional protection for industrial electrical safety compliance. The isolation resistance is measured above 100 MΩ at 25 °C and 70 % RH for industrial certification. The non-operating shock resistance for the power supply is rated below 20 G, confirming suitability for industrial mounting environments.
