The Aeroflex 3011 module incorporates an OCXO based 10 MHz reference that secures long term frequency accuracy performance standards. Its typical aging performance is one part in ten to the nine per day supporting repeatable calibrated measurements stability. A dedicated 10 MHz reference output supports distribution to companion PXI instruments requiring coherent system timing alignment capability. External reference capability allows locking the Aeroflex 3011 Synthesized Signal Generator to laboratory 10 MHz standards infrastructure directly. Its reference input accepts 0.4 V signals over 50 Ohms or loop through connections. The permitted frequency offset of 100 Hz preserves phase lock and maintains specified output performance margins.
