Keysight/Agilent DAQM904A Two-Wire Matrix Module for DAQ970A and DAQ973A
The DAQM904A Matrix Switch Module is a plug-in, 32 x 2 wire crosspoint matrix switch module specifically designed for the Keysight DAQ970A and DAQ973A data acquisition systems. The matrix has a 4-row by 8-column configuration, which enables you to route a number of different input/output signals to your D.U.T. (Device Under Test) and a number of different measurement instrument inputs as needed. This two-wire matrix maintains signal integrity for both differential and single-ended input/output signals, thus providing a means for simultaneous access to many different test points with no need to continually connect/disconnect cables during the test process.
The DAQM904A supports each cross-point at levels up to 300 VDC/AC and 1 amp, allowing the accommodation of a wide variety of sensors and control signals. In addition to supporting high voltage and current level signals, the DAQM904A achieves a scan time of 120 channels per second, allowing for fast data collection across all twelve possible channel combinations when used within one of the DAQ970A or DAQ973A mainframes. The DAQM904A may also be connected together to form an expanded 8 x 8, 4 x 16, or even larger topology by connecting rows and columns. Each DAQ970A or DAQ973A mainframe can support up to 96 individual cross-points, providing a scalable solution for large test systems without additional external switching hardware.
Keysight's DAQM904A is commonly utilized by industrial automation engineers to perform functional testing, component characterization, and wiring harness verification. The DAQM904A will reduce manual probing and eliminate intermittent connection issues by routing signals from digital multimeters, function generators, or power supplies through multiple DUTs in sequence. The DAQM904A utilizes a two-wire architecture, which will allow for four-wire ohms measurements using the external sense line(s). In addition, the compact plug-in design will help keep your tabletop and/or rack-mounted test systems organized. Repeatable and low-maintenance signal distribution is provided directly within the DAQ970A or DAQ973A mainframe for production environments where frequent re-configuration is necessary.
