The internal signal paths are safeguarded by integrated fault voltage protection rated up to 60 V maximum, preventing equipment damage from transient overvoltage events. Enclosed in a compact, rugged housing measuring 5.10 inches wide by 6.02 inches high and weighing 618 g (21.8 oz), the module mounts directly to the front panel of compatible PXI cards without taking up additional chassis slots.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the TB-4300 operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C (10% to 90% non-condensing relative humidity) at altitudes up to 2,000 meters (Pollution Degree 2, indoor use only). Storage environmental ratings extend from -40 °C to 71 °C and 5% to 95% relative humidity. The mechanical assembly is rated to withstand operational shock up to 30 g peak (11 ms half-sine pulse) and random operational vibrations from 5 Hz to 500 Hz at 0.3 grms (2.4 grms non-operating), ensuring continuous signal integrity near heavy industrial machinery and vibrating test setups.
