NH Research NHR S320 Power Supply Mini Tester
Designed to improve and expedite power device testing, the NHR S320 Power Supply Mini Tester is a complete automated power testing solution. This sophisticated tester offers versatility and accuracy in testing both AC and DC-input devices by combining the features of several test instruments into a single, small unit. The NHR S320 is a modularly designed chassis with six slots that can hold programmed DC power sources and a broad range of DC electronic loads. Highly accurate testing and data collecting are made possible by the precision measurement circuitry that is integrated into each module in the chassis.
The NHR S320 is intended for use as a GPIB-controlled subsystem integrated into larger automatic test stations, as well as for benchtop applications. It greatly reduces the complexity and connection wiring that are normally needed by doing away with the need for stand-alone equipment such DC electronic loads, programmable DC power supplies, AC power sources, digital voltmeters, current meters, and power meters. This all-in-one tester minimizes the risks and delays associated with custom-built testers, making it especially useful for test engineers who require an instant, ready-to-run solution.
The NHR S320's capacity to easily construct and carry out fully comprehensive test programs is one of its primary characteristics. Users can automate intricate sequences of instrument operations and measurements with the tester's robust macro-recording and playback features without the need for programming knowledge. A single keystroke can be used to perform and store up to 128 test programs, each with 100 test steps. The front panel shows the test results, which may be printed out or uploaded to a PC for additional study. The results include comprehensive measurements and PASS/FAIL indicators.
Its exceptionally broad working ranges—typically twice as large as industry standards—further augment the NHR S320's flexibility. In addition to guaranteeing compatibility with upcoming power stimulus needs, this enables flexible testing across a large range of goods.
