NHR-9300, 0 - 1200V, 100kW, Programmable Power Cycler and Battery Tester
NH Research 9300 Programmable Power Cycler and Battery Tester
The NH Research 9300 is a high-performance, fully programmable, bi-directional DC power tester that is intended to work as both a power source and a regenerative load concurrently. It allows current to flow in both directions during charging and discharging, making it suitable for testing ultra-capacitors, fuel cells, batteries, and other energy storage devices. In industries such as grid storage, automotive, aviation, heavy industrial, maritime, and research labs, the 9300 is used for tasks including battery cycling, charger testing, and battery modeling.
In a single 100kW cabinet, the NHR 9300 delivers two ranges of up to 333A and up to 1200V, providing a broad operational envelope. Up to 1.2MW and 4000A of power can be scaled for more demanding applications by synchronizing several cabinets in simultaneously. Because of this configuration's flexibility, customers can easily add cabinets as needed to test both present and future items.
A high-precision 1-MS/S digitizer is included into every NHR 9300 cabinet, enabling precise measurements of voltage, current, amp-hours, and watt-hours. As a result, no more external instruments are required. You can download the data for more in-depth study, such as determining the condition of the battery. Through the use of Enerchron® software and third-party data collecting equipment, additional measurement channels are also supported.
Performance is regularly monitored by the system, which signals circumstances like measurement mistakes, over-range problems, temperature limits, and grid frequency limitations. If an operator makes a mistake or the equipment malfunctions, programmable safety limits are set up to disconnect the unit under test (UUT). Testing is safe because of an integrated interlock device that isolates the tester in the event that it is activated.
Without the need for programming, operators can create and manage charge/discharge profiles with the 9300 thanks to its user-friendly touch-panel interface. Test management and rigorous data gathering are provided by the Enerchron® Test Executive, which may be used on an external PC for larger-scale testing.
