The Spirent Avalanche SPT-C100 TestCenter represents one of the high-performance solutions developed in the direction of testing network infrastructure, Web applications, and Triple Play services for the most stringent Quality of Service and Quality of Experience standards. The solution also supports multi-10 Gbps capacities, powered by over 20 Gbps of encrypted traffic by using stateful Layer 4-7 traffic testing. It provides a strong tool for network operators, service providers, and equipment manufacturers to stress infrastructure with heavy, real-world conditions.
The SPT-C100 is designed to handle large volumes of concurrent connections and complex traffic simulations that can support up to 45 million concurrent connections. It can manage more than 3 million new TCP connections per second. These capabilities make it very suitable for extensive performance testing of network devices such as Web servers, DNS servers, and various network equipment. With enhanced functionalities that include the ability to test simultaneously on 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps ports, the device offers flexible, scalable testing across multiple configurations. It supports a wide range of protocols: HTTP, FTP, SSL, IPsec, VoIP-stateful, making it suitable for a wide range of testing activities like mobile network firewall testing, load balancing, and high-volume data processing.
With the SPT-C100, realistic user behavior can be simulated. It will be able to emulate interactive and dynamic content, configurable browser types, and variable load profiles. For multimedia services, it will support HTTP Adaptive Bitrate streaming-compliant with Apple, Microsoft, and Adobe formats-enabling next-generation video testing and accurately measuring how users are affecting the quality of service. That is very important in any network infrastructure that provides streaming or some kind of multimedia services to make sure the quality at the end-user experience is still high.
The SPT-C100 further has the capability for stress testing-the creation of heavy traffic and load conditions-to identify and address potential failure points. Such proactive testing by Avalanche helps companies identify and weed out bottlenecks before they cause system outages, enhancing operational reliability. Integrated reporting tools further simplify test analysis and troubleshooting.
The SPT-C100 TestCenter, with its extensive support for IPsec VPNs, SSL VPNs, and complex attack scenarios, is exceptionally well-suited for both security and performance testing of network infrastructure.
