Its measurement range extends from -65 to 10 dBm that enables verification of low power links. The unit’s display range reaches -65 to 13 dBm that provides margin when observing fluctuating live signals. Its maximum input power of 16 dBm protects the OLP-35 meter during exposure to amplified channels. The intrinsic uncertainty of this power meter is 0.2 dB under specified reference conditions for ensuring reliable link assessment. Its optical interface accepts universal 2.5 mm connectors used with standard patch cords in automation cabinets. An optional 1.25 mm adapter supports LC or MU ports in high density panels. It simplifies fiber identification in dense fields due to its tone detection at 270 Hz, 1000 Hz and 2000 Hz.
