Keysight/Agilent E1300B B-Size VME/VXI Mainframe
The Keysight E1300B is a nine-slot B-size VME/VXI mainframe designed for modular test system integration. It is configured without a front panel keyboard. It delivers a terminal-based user interface through its built-in Display Terminal Interface for remote operation. The mainframe is factory supplied with 256 kBytes of non-volatile RAM for standard reading storage. It provides 500 kBytes of additional capacity.
The integrated pacer in the Keysight E1300B features a 50% duty cycle with programmable intervals from 500 nsec to 8.389 sec. The pulse count is configurable from 1 through 8388607 or can be set to a continuous output. The VLO drive measures 0.75 V at 4 mA, and the VHI drive measures 3.4 V at -4 mA. The rise time is rated at 320 nsec and the fall time at 90 nsec for the pacer output signal. The real-time clock maintains accuracy within 0.01% of elapsed time plus or minus 1 second at 25°C. The temperature variation is held within 0.01% of elapsed time across the full specified operating temperature range. The clock resolution of the mainframe is 1 second with non-volatile memory retention lasting 60 days without additional installed RAM.
The trigger input of the E1300B B-Size VME/VXI Mainframe is TTL compatible and requires a minimum pulse width of 300 nsec. It accepts line voltages of 115 or 230 Vac at frequencies from 50 to 400 Hz. The fusing is specified at 3 A for 115 Vac operation and at 1.5 A for 230 Vac operation. The empty chassis consumption for the mainframe is 27 W with an apparent power draw of 52 VA.
The cooling capacity of the VME/VXI mainframe is rated at 25 watts per slot, assuming a sustained 10°C temperature rise across each slot. The operating temperature range for the model spans 0°C to 55°C with relative humidity rated at 65% from 0° to 40°C. The storage temperature is specified from –40°C to 75°C, and the maximum operational altitude is rated at 3000 meters.
