Keysight/Agilent E1344A 16-Channel T/C High-Voltage Relay Multiplexer
The Keysight/Agilent E1344A is a 16 Channel T/C High Voltage Relay Multiplexer designed for accurate signal switching applications. It multiplexes up to 16 independent channels with each channel providing dedicated High Low and Guard connections. The relay multiplexer is built to handle demanding multi channel measurement tasks across industrial and laboratory environments. It supports a maximum operating voltage of 250 Vdc with a 354 V peak. This voltage specification applies to both terminal to terminal and terminal to chassis connection configurations on the module.
Each channel of the high voltage relay multiplexer carries a maximum current of 50 mA under strictly non inductive loading conditions only. The maximum power per channel is rated at 1 VA to ensure consistently safe and stable operation. The thermal offset per channel remains below 10 μV as measured on the differential High Low signal path. The closed channel resistance of the model is specified at 100 Ω ± 10 % which corresponds to the protection resistor values. The insulation resistance exceeds 10? Ω when evaluated under conditions of 40 °C temperature and 65 % relative humidity. The multiplexer is structured around a component assembly that is paired with a dedicated terminal module. The channel relay switches are housed on the component assembly to enable repeatable and controlled signal routing. The field wiring from various user sources including thermocouples connects directly to the terminal module at the rear. The terminal module additionally supports connections for multimeters voltmeters counters and various other measuring instruments.
The relay life of the E1344A Relay Multiplexer at no load is rated at 10? operations offering substantial long term switching durability. At rated load, the relay life specification is defined at 10? total switching operations per relay. The bandwidth of the model at - 3 dB exceeds 10 MHz when protection resistors are shorted with 50 Ω source and load. The channel to channel crosstalk consistently measures - 80 dB at frequencies between 1 kHz and 100 kHz under standard conditions. The crosstalk increases to - 60 dB at 1 MHz and further reaches - 40 dB at 10 MHz.
