National Instruments AT-AO-6 Analog Output Board

The AT-AO-6 is an Analog Output Board manufactured by National Instruments. This board corresponds to part numbers 776541-01 and 181435-06. This board can be used with legacy NI-DAQ driver software. The NI AT-AO-6 can be utilized with application software like LabVIEW, VirtualBench, BridgeVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measure, and ComponentWorks. The Windows NT/98/95 operating systems are used to operate the NI AT-AO-6 board.

This Analog Output Board is designed for ISA computers. The NI AT-AO-6 contains 6 similar output channels. Each channel has unipolar or bipolar output capability. These channels provide voltage outputs and can sink 4 to 20 mA current at the time of connection to the external source. The NI AT-AO-6 has similar properties to the AT-AO-10, except for the number of output channels. The maximum update rate of this Analog Output Board is 300 kS/s based on system requirements.  

The NI AT-AO-6 has a channel resolution of 12-bits. The NI AT-AO-6 can allocate waveforms into the double-buffered type of digital-to-analog (DAC) channel pairs. The output coupling type of this board is DC. The NI AT-AO-6 has a FIFO buffer size of 1024 samples. The AT-AO-6 is fabricated for load impedance of a maximum of 500 pF. The NI AT-AO-6 has a connection for a 50-pin male input/output connector. The digital lines of this Analog Output Board are 8 standard TTL with 5V source voltage. The bus type used in connections for the AT-AO-6 is a slave bus. There are 7 triggered RTSI lines are affiliated with the NI AT-AO-6 board.  

AT-AO-6 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the analog output board will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
