National Instruments part number 783407-01 is an identifying part number for the NI-9361, a C Series Counter Input Module. The NI‑9361 is a 32-bit, 8-channel C Series Counter Input Module offering both differential and single-ended input options. It allows expansion beyond the four counters in CompactDAQ, enabling up to 64 counters per 8‑slot chassis. Each channel can be configured to read a single pulse train or combine multiple channels to read up to four incremental encoders. Additionally, sensors with open-collector or push-pull outputs can be directly connected using an internal switchable 1 kΩ pull‑up resistor. 

The NI‑9361 counters support encoder position and velocity measurements and can be synchronized with other analog, digital, and counter measurements within the chassis. The input voltage range for DI+ and DI- is 0 V to 5 V. The input high range spans from 200 mV to 5 V, while the input low range covers from -200 mV to -5 V. The part 783407-01 offers 8 inputs, each programmable as either differential or single-ended with pull-up or single-ended without pull-up. It supports an I/O signal rate of up to 1 MHz.
