Featured with RS232 and Ethernet Ports, the NI CVS-1454 (Part Number: 778638-01) is a Compact Vision System. This model comes equipped with a high performance processor and supports 3 FireWire Camera Inputs. The CVS 1454 is a flexible and rugged real-time image acquisition, storage, and analysis solution. This model is a viable solution for gauging, alignment, inspection, identification, and various other applications. A robust processor integrated with the 3 integrated FireWire ports enables the CVS-1454 to handle any inspection job.
This compact vision system has 15 digital input lines and 14 digital output lines. Out of its 15 digital input lines, 12 are 24 V isolated lines and the remaining are dedicated TTL lines. Out of the 14 digital output lines, ten are dedicated TTL lines and four are 24 V isolated lines. The FireWire image acquisition allows users to choose the right sensor for their applications. Thus, users can choose either a high-performance or a low-cost, low resolution sensor.
Using its broad range of digital I/O options, the NI CVS-1454 Compact Vision System can easily communicate with numerous automation devices, such as relays, robotics, and PLCs. In addition, the NI CVS-1454 can send data and commands to other devices through integrated Serial and Ethernet ports. The VGA output port incorporated in this module can be used to provide users with a real-time display of their product under inspection. The inclusion of multiple FireWire ports enables users to connect multiple cameras to perform multidimensional inspection.
