Featured with an Intel Atom processor and TTL digital I/O capabilities, the NI CVS-1457RT is a Compact Vision System from National Instruments. This system comes with PoE (Power over Ethernet technology) and can help you deploy your visual systems simply with less cabling. The CVS-1457RT has network connectivity and can easily be considered for various machine vision applications.
The TTL digital I/O lines provided on this Compact Vision System are backed by an integrated FPGA. This real-time imaging system is designed to acquire, process, and display images directly from GigE Vision compatible cameras. The NI CVS-1457RT also offers a variety of digital I/O options. These I/O options enable users to utilize a broad range of external devices to configure and initiate an inspection and to compile and display results. The front panel of this device has 1 VGA connector, 1 RJ50 serial port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 primary Ethernet connector, and 2 PoE compatible Gigabit Ethernet ports. For digital communications with external devices, this model has a 44-pin digital I/O port as well.
The digital I/O port comes with 8 isolated inputs, 2 bidirectional (RS-422) differential pairs, 8 isolated outputs, and 8 bidirectional TTL lines. The NI CVS-1457RT features a user-configurable FPGA that permits the digital I/O to be customized and configured for specific applications. The two PoE enabled ports are capable of providing data and power connection to GigE Vision compatible cameras.
Designed for indoor use only, the CVS-1457RT has an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C. When not operational, the device has a storage temperature range
