National Instruments CVS-1458RT Compact Vision System

Featured with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology and an integrated FPGA, the NI CVS-1458RT (Part Number: 784067-01) is a Compact Vision System. This system is designed for harsh industrial environments for the automation of inspection through imaging devices. The NI CVS-1458RT supports GigE Vision cameras and has redundant GigE ports with PoE. Thus, you can attach multiple cameras or vision devices with this Compact Vision System to create a fully automated inspection system. The NI CVS-1458RT comes with a comprehensive collection of digital I/O interfaces. Thus, you can program your Compact Vision System to take certain actions based on inspection results. In fact, with the CVS-1458RT, you can achieve complete automation in your inspection process.

This Compact Vision System has two PoE enabled GigE ports that can be used to host any PoE enabled imaging device. The availability of PoE enabled ports enables you to power your cameras through the Vision System, resulting in lesser cabling and costs. Moreover, the devices attached to the GigE ports of the NI CVS-1458RT can be controlled and programmed to operate as required. This Compact Vision System can control the process of image acquisition to achieve a tight synchronization between the imaging device and other mechanical equipment.
