National Instruments 777518-401 Digital Output Module
Part Number 777518-401 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments FP-DO-401 Digital Output Module. The 777518-401 features 16 output channels that are sourcing type where the voltage range is 5 VDC to 30 VDC. The output impedance at 10-30 V is 0.3 Ω whereas the maximum output current is 1.5 A over the operating temperature range. On the other hand, in between 5 to 10 V, the output impedance is 2 Ω whereas the maximum current in this range is 0.67 A per channel or 1.2 Amp-squared in all channels.
The 777518-401 features green POWER and READY indicators in addition to 16 green output state indicators. When the module is installed onto a terminal base and power is applied to the network module, the POWER indicator lights up. Similarly, when the device informs the network module of its presence, the network module recognizes the presence and sends the initial configuration. In this case, the READY indicator lights up. The output state indicators light up when the channel is in the ON state.
