National Instruments NI-7931 Controller for FlexRIO

The NI-7931 (Part number: 783763-01) Controller for FlexRIO has a Xilinx Kintex-7 325T FPGA, an ARM Cortex-A9 processor (Dual Core), 512 MB system memory, and onboard DDR3 DRAM up to 2 GB. This FlexRIO Controller also comes with dedicated clocking hardware to deliver a versatile clocking solution for FlexRIO systems. The internal reference clock frequency of the NI-7931 is 100 MHz, while its frequency pull range is +/-100 ppm.

The NI 7931 Controller for FlexRIO offers dependable, extended operation for applications that require embedded signal processing and advanced I/O capability. The NI 7931 Controller can be mounted with part number 784365-01. While the mounting position is not limited, the user should note that if they mount the NI-7931 upside-down, then they should ensure the FlexRIO Adapter Module is supported if they anticipate shock more than 30 g/11 ms. There also must be a minimum of one inch clearance on both sides of the controller when it is mounted to guarantee the maximum allowable ambient temperature.
