National Instruments PXI-7952 PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO
The PXI-7952 (Part Number: 780561-01) FPGA Module for FlexRIO has 128 MB DRAM, FPGA Virtex 5 LX50, and can be used with NI connector modules. The NI FlexRIO connector modules give elite I/O that can be customized with the NI FlexRIO FPGA module. With these connector modules, National Instruments incorporates the module-particular component-level node (CLIP), which characterizes the interface amongst LabVIEW and the connector module. This allows the user to begin programming their application instantly, without a low level of comprehension of the design or usefulness of the connector module.
While LabVIEW is a powerful instrument for FPGA programming for the NI PXI-7952, the user can have the intellectual property (IP) of the existing hardware description language (HDL) that should be incorporated into NI FlexRIO hardware applications. There are three ways to accomplish this: The first is the IP Integration Node; this node gives a straightforward online interface to HDL IP and Xilinx CORE Generator XCO records and has the programmed generation of LabVIEW interface, as well as the capacity to produce precise reproduction models for host execution.
