The NI 778643-01 PXI 8-Slot Front Rack Mount Kit provides a secure way to attach your 8-slot PXI chassis to standard 19" equipment racks using a front-rack mounting kit. The primary use of this rack mount kit is to provide a strong connection point for integrating modular hardware into Automated Test & Measurement (ATM) systems, specifically with the PXI-1042 chassis. For system integrators and lab engineers, this kit can convert your benchtop PXI chassis into a rack-mounted version, saving valuable space while maintaining the strength and safety required in high-vibration and/or high-traffic areas. Additionally, the NI 778643-01 can assist in organizing typical system layouts and reduce the potential of equipment getting knocked off shelves or other areas where it could be damaged.
All the necessary hardware and bracketry are included with the kit, so you can easily install your chassis at the front. When installing your chassis at the front, you still have full access to the modules and connectors within the chassis without having to remove the entire system.
