It was created especially for processor-intensive jobs and data acquisition applications in industrial automation environments.
The PXIe-8135 offers high-performance processing capabilities with an Intel Core i7 3610 QE processor rated at 2.3 GHz and a single-core Turbo mode that can reach 3.3 GHz. Efficient multitasking and data processing are ensured by the processor's support for dual-channel DDR3 RAM, with a standard configuration of 4 GB (expandable up to 16 GB for the PC3 12800 model), and single-channel DDR3 RAM, also standard at 4 GB (upgradable to 8 GB).
With two 10/100/1000BASE-TX Gigabit Ethernet ports for high-speed networking, two SuperSpeed USB connections, and four Hi-Speed USB ports for flexible connectivity, the PXIe-8135 integrates standard I/O functionality into a compact, rugged device. Additionally, it has an integrated hard drive that can store and retrieve data. It has a minimum capacity of 250 GB.
Essential peripheral I/O ports such a parallel port, four high-speed USB 2.0 ports, two high-speed USB 3.0 ports, and an RS-232 serial connection are all included with this controller for effective data transfer. It also has two DisplayPort video connectors for connecting to displays.
The PXIe-8135 has expandability options to accommodate different application requirements. These options include an optional ExpressCard/34 expansion slot and an optional front panel-accessible, removable hard drive.
The controller integrates seamlessly into PXI Express systems thanks to its support for PXI Express 4 Link Configuration (x4, x4, x4, x4) and PXI Express 2 Link Configuration (x8, x8) for connectivity to the PXI Express/CompactPCI Express backplane.
In order to further increase its adaptability in testing and laboratory settings, the controller also has a GPIB (IEEE 488 Controller) for controlling instruments. Along with a variety of logic blocks for effective operation and connectivity, it also has a watchdog timer for system monitoring.
