The National Instruments 779630-01 Multifunction I/O Module is a member of the PXI-6229 series. This module can be used for a wide range of tasks, from design verification and manufacturing tests to laboratory automation and research, due to its flexible analog and digital I/O capabilities, two 32-bit counter/timers, and digital triggering.

Each of the 16 differential or 32 single-ended analog input channels on the 779630-01 module has a 16-bit ADC resolution. For both aggregate multichannel and single-channel modes, the analog inputs provide a maximum sampling rate of 250 kS/s. It can handle many kinds of signals since the input range may be adjusted to ±0.2 V, ±1 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V. The 779630-01 has four analog output channels with a 16-bit DAC resolution as part of its output capabilities.
