National Instruments NB-DIO-32F Digital I/O Board
The NB-DIO-32F is a Digital I/O Board by National Instruments. The NB-DIO-32F belongs to the NB Series designed for the Macintosh NuBus. The NB-DIO-32F can also be identified by the part number 776157-01. The NI NB-DIO-32F can be used with the NB24 Digital I/O Shielded-Ribbon Cable, which comes in two lengths: 0.5 m (Part Number: 180554-05) and 1 m (Part Number: 180554-10). This Digital I/O Board can be programmed with LabVIEW application software. The NI NB-DIO-32F can be installed by using NI-DAQ for Macintosh driver software.
The I/O channels on the NI NB-DIO-32F Digital I/O Board are TTL compatible. This Digital I/O Board is interfaced to the RTSI bus to transfer DMA, interrupt, and digital I/O handshaking data to other NB Series Boards. The National Instruments NB-DIO-32F board has several I/O handshaking options for interfacing to the majority of peripheral types with a parallel interface. The NB-DIO-32F can interface the Macintosh NuBus to other computers with a parallel digital I/O interface, SSR Series solid-state relays, SC-206x Series optically isolated I/O and electromechanical relays, and other devices.
The NI NB-DIO-32F Digital I/O Board is a high-performance RTSI bus interface that can be operated with an NB-DMA2800. Applications for this board include production testing, lab testing, and industrial process monitoring and control. The NB-DIO-32F board has a maximum transfer rate of 350 kwords/s. The NB-DIO-32F contains a 50-pin male digital I/O connector, which is compatible with the National Instruments 32-channel SSR backplane. The NB-DIO-32F board requires 2.2 A maximum power at +5 VDC from the NuBus.
