The NI 779955-01 (Part Number: 194016A-01) is a Switch Cable from National Instruments. The 779955-01 is a 1 meter, 37-Pin Female-to-Female DSUB cable. This Switch Cable is a required accessory designed for the NI PXI-2564 PXI Relay Module. The PXI-2564 is a general-purpose Relay Module with 16 channels.
This Switch Cable is rated to carry a maximum current of 5 amperes. Moreover, the cable is intended to be used with measurement Category II devices only. Thus, you cannot use this cable in systems where switching voltages are expected to go beyond 150 V AC or 150 V DC. You can access all the signals of the NI PXI-2564 module by connecting this cable to the front D-Sub type male connector provided on the module. The other end of the cable can be connected to another 37-pin device or accessory as required.
