The National Instruments DB25M-PIGTAIL (Part Number: 190911A-04) is a specially designed, 4-meter Cable Assembly. This cable comes with a male D-Sub type connector on one end, whereas the other end is comprised of 24 un-terminated flying leads or bare wires.
The NI DB25M-PIGTAIL can be used for connectivity of devices to your 25-pin National Instruments product. Each of the 25 wires included in this cable terminates in one pin of the D-SUB connector provided at one end. This cable is often used in motion control applications where devices such as the UMI-7774/72 are used.
The bare wires of this cable offer fast and flexible connectivity to various kinds of limit switches or position switches in motion control applications. Moreover, you can use this cable for connecting your National Instruments motion control equipment to third party derives.
