National Instruments SHC68M-68F-RMIO Multifunction Cable
The SHC68M-68F-RMIO (also known as SHC68-68-RMIO and Part Numbers: 189588-01 and 189588-02) is a versatile, shielded cable designed to be used with National Instruments Multifunction RIO devices. This cable has a D-SUB type female connector at its one end and a VHDCI type 68-pin male connector at the other. The SHC68-68-RMIO cable connects to the RMIO connector used for multifunction I/O connectivity in R Series devices. This cable comes with separate shielded cable bundles for digital and analog signals. Moreover, analog output signals are also carried through individually shielded pairs of wires. These characteristics ensure the efficient transmission of signals.
The SHC68M-68F-RMIO is often recommended to be used with the MIO ports of the PXI-784xR, PXIe-785xR, PXI-784xR, PXI-785xR cards and for the devices from the USB R Series. National Instruments recommends this cable over standard, shielded SCH68-68 type cables because of its noise rejection properties. The SHC68M-68F-RMIO is a high-performance cable available in 1 meter and 2-meter lengths.
